FAQs

We recommend that you attend both the Getting Started Day and the Orientation Day on your campus. If you are only able to attend one day due to time constraints, make sure it is Orientation Day as it covers the most essential information you need to commence your studies at ACU.

For students who are unable to attend their campus events, an online Getting Started event and online Orientation Day is also provided to ensure you don’t miss out on important information.

The Getting Started program will help you if would like some additional support to ‘get a head start’ academically or are feeling a little unprepared or overwhelmed with commencing study. The day has a series of workshops and activities designed to give an extra boost to starting study and help you connect with your peers.

The Orientation Day covers everything you need to know to commence your studies at ACU. Throughout the day you will attend course information sessions, learn about support services and how to get involved in student life all while having lots of fun and connecting with your peers.

Students can attend online Orientation sessions if they cannot make it to their campus day. However, course information sessions may not be available online, so we ask you contact your course coordinator or AskACU for more information about your course.

Yes, students studying online are welcome to visit their local campus on Orientation Day, attend sessions and get involved in the fun! Please note that information specific to your online course may not be available at the on-campus events, so you should access your course information online.
